With a Panoptix Forward transducer, fishermen can see the bottom, structure, and fish swimming around in front of the boat in real time. This transducer clearly shows what''s in front of the boat using LiveVu Forward or RealVu 3D Forward modes.
LiveVu Forward provides a more live-video look that shows fish swimming and moving toward or away from the boat. Updates are provided with a single ping, providing real-time moving images of what''s in the water. With LiveVu Forward, users can even cast a lure out and watch it as it''s reeled back towards the boat right on the screen.
RealVu 3D Forward digitally scans the area in front of the boat, creating a forward-looking 3D view of the bottom, structure and fish. The user can control how quickly the forward area is scanned to provide greater or less detail, making it very easy to identify where the fish really are.
With one Panoptix Forward transducer the user can actually see the bottom, structure and fish swimming around in front of the boat in real time, even while stationary. The Panoptix Forward transducer will even pick up on lures as they are reeled in plus has the ability to produce a highly accurate 3D view of fish and structure in front of the boat.
The transducer updates a slice of the 3-D volume with each ping and takes 1 to 4 seconds to update the entire volume. As it sweeps forward it shows the bottom and fish in the water column coming toward the boat with the on screen history being only one sweep.
The Panoptix range of transducers are compatible with Garmin''s GPSMAP 8000/8500 series and GPSMAP 7x1, 74x0, 8x0, and 10x0 series chartplotters, as well as the echoMAP 70s and echoMAP 70dv.
